Fly-tipping – don’t ignore it, report it!

The problem of fly-tipping is regularly raised with me during my walkabouts around the ward.  It’s unsightly, illegal and destroys our local environment.

The City Council will investigate dumped rubbish and will prosecute fly-tippers where there is evidence to do so.  That’s why it’s important that we all do our bit to report problems when they occur.

If you see an incident of fly-tipping, please call the Council’s hotline on 0121 303 6007 or email publichealth@birmingham.gov.uk with the following information:

  • Your name and phone number
  • When and where the incident occured
  • Any details about the vehicle involved – its registration number, the colour, make. model or any identifying insignia.

Together, we can make a difference and bring the fly-tippers to book!
