Have your say about Healthwatch

If you’ve got an interest in how health and social care services are delivered in Birmingham, then you need to make sure you have your say about plans for a new consumer champion for service users.

Healthwatch Birmingham will be an independent organisation, open to all and focused on finding ways of improving local health and social care services.  These include GPs, Clinical Commissioning Groups, hospitals, opticians, dentists, pharmacists, clinics, mental health services, home care, care homes and day centres.

To make sure that Healthwatch Birmingham is focused on the right priorities, patients, service users and the public are being asked their views through a major, city-wide consultation.  It’s vital that we all get a chance to have our say about these important changes, so I’m encouraging as many residents as possible to take part.  You can find out more about the plans and complete the consultation questionnaire by clicking here.
